Oklahoma Tornado Disaster Relief – How Can You Help?
I’m sure by now you have all heard of the EF5 Tornado that tore through Moore, Oklahoma. After checking to make sure that my family in Moore, OK was safe and sound I then began to find ways to help out from hours away. Here is a short list of items that are needed currently for the victims of the tornado.
- Soap laundry detergent
- New towels and wash clothes
- Toiletries – Shampoo, conditioner, razors etc.
- Baby items – Diapers, wipes, etc.
- New pillows
- Sheets and blankets
- Cleaning Supplies
Any of that ring a bell?? It should… as couponers, these are many of the items that we all have in our stock pile because we get them for free or ridiculously cheap. Please go through your stock piles and see if there is anything that you can pack up to donate. There are many places right now all over that are collecting donations and will drive them down there to Oklahoma for you. All you have to do it pack up your donations and drop them off to a location.

Newly added donation info: From IC Contributor Angela “If you are still looking to donate to the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes last week, I am told that there is a truck accepting donations by Chick–Fil-A in Avon. Time to gather up the stock pile for a good cause! ~I haven’t been up there yet myself so I don’t know details of hours they are there, or when they will be heading out.”
